Chocolate Chip Roll-out Sugar Cookie Recipe
Yields 12 Cookies
Ingredients
1 C Unsalted Butter
3/4 C Sugar
1/4 C Brown Sugar
1 Large eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
3 C Flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
1 C Mini Chocolate Chips
Instructions
Cream the butter and sugars.
Add egg and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Mix in chocolate chips.
Roll out dough and refrigerate for 1-2 hrs.
Preheat oven to 375F.
Cut out in desired shapes and bake for 10-12 minutes.
Tip: For royal icing, add 1-2 tsp vanilla extract to your icing to complement the cookie flavor
